Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract
position as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is based onsite in
Salem, Oregon, serving students from kindergarten through 12th
grade. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the
opportunity to work within a dynamic school environment, providing
speech and language support tailored to students diverse needs.
Assignments and caseloads will be determined based on your
experience and preferences, with a focus on delivering high-quality
therapy services across the K-12 spectrum. Key responsibilities
include: Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, and
communication disorders Developing individualized treatment plans
aligned with students' educational goals Providing direct
speech-language therapy and supporting students in group and
individual settings Collaborating with educators, parents, and
other professionals to support student progress Maintaining
accurate documentation and complying with school and regulatory
requirements Qualifications and experience desired: Current
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA) Previous experience in school settings, working
with K-12 student populations Ability to manage varying caseloads
and adapt therapy approaches to individual student needs Strong
communication and interpersonal skills This position begins at the
start of the new school year and runs through September 7, 2026.
