Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to
provide essential maternity leave coverage within a K-12 school
setting, with the assignment spanning from ASAP through August 7,
2026. The position primarily serves students in two areas:
initially covering leave in Lackawanna County and later supporting
itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA region. Part-time candidates
will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
individualized speech and language therapy services to students in
a school-based environment - Collaborate with educators and
families to support student communication goals - Maintain thorough
documentation in compliance with school and state requirements -
Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and clearance
protocols Qualifications & Experience: - Must hold a Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology - Active
Speech-Language Pathology licensure in the state of Pennsylvania is
required - Demonstrated experience working in school-based therapy
settings - Ability to obtain or complete all required Pennsylvania
clearances prior to start date - Reliable personal transportation
is essential for travel between school locations Position Details:
- Location: Pittston, PA area schools covering Lackawanna County
and Dunmore, PA - Employment Type: Contract leave coverage - Hours:
Full time (35 hours per week), with part-time candidates considered
- Work Environment: Onsite in school facilities - Interview
