.Position Description SummaryCommonwealth University of
Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions
in Finance in the Department of Economics & Finance at Zeigler
College of Business. The position is to fill temporary vacancies to
teach lower level and upper level undergraduate finance courses as
needed.DutiesThe responsibilities include but not limited to teach
various introductory and upper level courses in finance, advise
students, conduct research, serve in the University and Department
committees as needed. The location of the temporary position will
be in anyone or all the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania
campuses. The teaching mode can either be face-to-face or online or
a combination of both.Qualifying Experience and Education
(Minimum/Preferred)Minimum Qualification:A master’s degree in
finance or closely related field is required.Demonstrated ability
to work with diverse populations and prior collegiate teaching
experience in Personal Financial Planning, Retirement Planning and
Risk Management and Insurance Planning" are preferred.Teaching
experience in business, or finance-related professional
certification courses such as CFA, CFP, or CPA is also
considered.Completion of scholarly activities such as publications
in refereed journal, finance-related services, and professional

conditional, pending successful completion of the background

Policy 2014-01-A: Protection of Minors. In order to qualify for a
provisional appointment, the Applicant Acknowledgement Consent
Form, Provisional Hire Form, Pennsylvania State Police and
Justifacts portion of the clearance process must be successfully
completed prior to your start date. The remaining PA Child Abuse
History Clearance and FBI Clearance must be successfully completed
and returned as soon as possible within the first 90 days of
