- 3 Month Contract Industry: Energy / Solar / Commercial Electrical
Pay: $22-$30/HR DOE Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Rooftop Foreman to lead the installation of commercial
energy?conservation and solar?related projects. This role is
responsible for supervising on?site crews, performing hands?on
electrical installation work, maintaining a safe jobsite, and
ensuring all project tasks meet National Electrical Code (NEC) and
OSHA standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily
activities of on?site self?install crews Perform electrical and
mechanical installation tasks to meet daily production targets
Maintain a clean, hazard?free jobsite Ensure all work complies with
NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards Review and execute
construction plans, layouts, and specifications Install equipment
according to manufacturer requirements and Quality Management Plan
(QMP) Complete daily reports including photos, site updates, and
issue tracking Plan material, tool, and manpower needs in advance
Identify hazards, defects, and code compliance issues Load/unload
materials, operate company vehicle, and trailer equipment to job
sites Mentor and coach team members to support their development
Communicate professionally with customers, management, and crew
members Requirements Education High School Diploma or equivalent
(preferred) Vocational or trade?related training (a plus)
Experience 4 years of commercial installation experience Experience
working safely on rooftops, ladders, lifts Ability to read and
follow construction blueprints Strong understanding of equipment
layout, assembly, and grounding/bonding for solar projects
Certifications & Licenses Valid driver’s license* OSHA 10 required
OSHA 30 (must obtain within 6 months) Scissor Lift Certification

problem?solving abilities Working Conditions Majority of work is
outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Exposure to dusty, wet, loud, or industrial environments depending
on the site Occasional work in hazardous environments (e.g., steel
mills, chemical plants) Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move
up to 50 lbs throughout the day Frequent walking, standing, and
climbing ladders/stairs Must be able to work on rooftops and
elevated surfaces Travel Requirements Regular travel Monday–Friday
depending on project location May require extended travel (1–2
months nationally) Must arrive punctually to assigned job sites
