Job Description Job Description Job Title: Foundry Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Laborer, working in a dynamic foundry environment. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to our manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Responsibilities Remove castings from shaker belt. Operate de-core machine or handheld machine to knock out the cores. Keep cooling belt supplied with castings. Ensure gating/sprues stay with castings on cooling belt. Maintain a clean work area free from sand buildup. Dispose of core sand properly in outside dumpster using wheelbarrows. Clock in and out accurately using Shop Floor Manager. Perform other related duties as required or requested. Adhere to all company policies and procedures in carrying out duties. Essential Skills General labor experience. Foundry and manufacturing knowledge. Inspection and metalworking skills. Safety-oriented mindset. Prior manufacturing experience. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a foundry environment is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a foundry environment, which can be dirty and dusty. Expect hot summers and cold winters, along with a loud atmosphere due to equipment and machine operations. You will work alongside a team of 10-15 foundry laborers. The dress code includes steel-toed boots or shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, jeans, and a T-shirt. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
