  • Prepares, distributes and maintains monthly schedules for specialty services as assigned.
  • Assists in all aspects of successfully onboarding new physicians into assigned practices in collaboration with other departments such as enrollments, medical affairs and human resources
  • Regularly updates and maintains Orientation Binder(s) for new providers as assigned in collaboration with the Leadership Teams
  • Prepares, updates and maintains Advanced Practitioner State and Hospital Collaborative and Supervising Agreements (PA's and CRNP's) for specialty practices as assigned.
  • Provided data management, reporting, financial and service support for assigned practices Assists with handling of patient complaints and grievances in accordance with SLUHN Policy
  • Assists in preparation of payroll including maintenance of spreadsheets and hours reconciliation for physician and advanced practitioners.
  • Provide Billing/Data Entry support as necessary
  • Assists with maintenance of departmental data and financial spreadsheets/reports with ability to extract and provide data to upper management based on the information
  • Maintains an awareness of unit budget and assists with preparation.
    PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
    Sit up to 6 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. - Stand up to 2 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. - Walk 2 hours per day; 10 minutes at a time. - Consistently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 lbs. - Occasionally lift, carry, push objects up to 75 lbs. must have the ability to frequently use hands/fingers, and frequently stoop/bend. - Must have ability to reach above shoulder level. - Must have the ability for seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, and peripheral vision. - Must have ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation.
    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.
    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. - Two years of practice or related healthcare experience preferred. ICD-9 (ICD-10)/CPT Coding Knowledge Preferred.
