Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry trends
affecting insurance products in niche markets. Communicate
underwriting decisions and risk evaluations clearly and effectively
to agents and potential clients. Ensure that each approved
insurance policy meets both the client's needs and the company's
risk exposure guidelines. Provide detailed documentation of
underwriting processes and decisions for compliance and review.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills Proficient in
statistical analysis and risk assessment techniques Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple
tasks and prioritize effectively In-depth knowledge of insurance
products, markets, and legal regulations Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Insurance Underwriter
(CIU) designation is preferred Completion of relevant courses from
the American Institute For Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
(AICPCU) such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
