DevelopmentBonuses!Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic
and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the
manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a
critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our
company's financial operations. This includes maintaining financial
records, processing payments, conducting daily banking activities,
and preparing monthly financial reports. The Senior Accountant will
also be responsible for ensuring our financial operations are in
compliance with legal rules and regulations.Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P,
GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue
Recognition.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or as needed.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in
accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct regular ledger reconciliation and bank
reconciliations.
- Ensure all payments are completed on time (including accounts
payable and bank deposits).
- Monitor financial transactions and reports.
- Process company payroll ensuring accurate and timely payroll
processing.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision
support.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and
financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related
field.
- 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance
experience.
- Advanced degree in Accounting or CPA is a plus.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles,
practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting
software.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and
