Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction
Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities and
ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within
budget. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for
managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors and
suppliers, and enforcing quality and safety standards to deliver
high-quality construction projects.
Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction
Manager that has been in business for 20 years. Team members are
valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company
culture. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction
activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring
progress.
Oversee the deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials to
ensure efficient utilization and timely completion of tasks.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, adherence
to plans, and compliance with safety regulations.
Lead and motivate on-site personnel, including subcontractors,
foremen, and laborers, to ensure productivity and adherence to
project goals.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote
teamwork and excellence in performance.
Enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working
environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective
actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and
materials.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and
documents.
